DAY 1
- The group convenes at the pickup location by 6:00 pm- 8:00 pm.
- You'll meet our team captains and receive a quick tour briefing.
- Following this, we embark on an overnight journey to Shimla.
DAY 2
- Arrive in Shimla in the early morning.
- Transition to a Tempo Traveller for the onward journey to Chitkul/Sangla.
- By evening, you'll reach Chitkul/Sangla.
- The day ends with group bonding activities and dinner.
- Overnight stay in Chitkul/Sangla.
DAY 3
- Start the day with breakfast and set off for Kalpa.
- Halfway through, we'll pause in Reckong Peo town, where weather permitting, you might catch a glimpse of the majestic Kinner Kailash Peak.
- Upon reaching Kalpa, visit Kalpa Monastery and Suicide Point.
- Enjoy dinner, check-in and stay overnight in Kalpa.
DAY 4
- After breakfast, continue the journey to Nako with a stop at Khab, the confluence of the Sutlej and Spiti rivers.
- In Nako, visit Nako Lake and the Nako Monastery.
- Dinner is served upon check-in and you'll spend the night in Nako.
DAY 5
- Begin the day with breakfast and embark on the journey to Kaza, Spiti's headquarters.
- Stop en-route at the historic Tabo Monastery, with the option to visit Gue Monastery and Dhankar Monastery.
- Arrive in Kaza before dark, explore the town and have dinner.
- Stay overnight in Kaza.
DAY 6
- After breakfast, visit Key Monastery and the impressive Chicham Bridge, Asia's highest bridge.
- Later, travel to Hikkim, home to the world's highest post office.
- Continue to Komic Village, one of the world's highest motorable road-connected villages.
- Explore Langza, renowned for its Buddha statue and abundant fossils, before returning to Kaza.
- Dinner and overnight stay in Kaza.
DAY 7
- Start the day with breakfast.
- Then, return to Kalpa or if the route is open, head to Chandratal.
- You'll arrive in the evening.
- Dinner is served upon check-in, followed by an overnight stay in Kalpa or camps at Chandratal.
DAY 8
- After breakfast, depart for Shimla.
- Upon arrival, take an overnight bus to Delhi.
DAY 9
- Arrive in Delhi early in the morning, marking the end of the Winter Spiti Road Trip.
