DAY 1
- Start with your overnight journey from Bangalore to Munnar.
The road trip from Bangalore commences at 8:30 P.M.
Drive through the breathtaking highway of Southern India.
The 500 km distance takes about 11-12 hours to complete.
Day 2
- Welcome the beautiful day with the misty mountains of Munnar as you approach the Ghat section. The winding roads will take you to our stay in the outskirts region.
- Note: The usual check-in time for Munnar stays is around 12 noon. Hence we will use washrooms to freshen up and put luggage in the common area before going for the day plan.
- Head to Photo Point for a stunning view of the surrounding tea plantation. Visit the Mattupetty Dam a concrete gravity dam. Have Lunch at a local off beat place. Note that food options are limited in this place. Visit Echo point for scenic view and capture good pictures. Visit Kalaripayattu Culture Show which is the highlight of the day & the oldest martial art form of Kerala. Return to your accommodation and prepare for a fun evening with your new friends at the bonfire.
Day 3
- Wake up early in the morning and start your day with a private trek to a waterfall that is secluded in a tea estate. You can take a dip or relax by the waterfall and enjoy the serene beauty.
Return to the property to freshen up and have your breakfast. Have a heavy Breakfast with traditional black tea of Munnar.
After breakfast, check out and head for Shopping time. Stop over at a nearby market to buy different varieties of tea, spices, and goodies to carry back home.
Head towards Kolukkumalai which is the highest tea estate in the world and offers breathtaking views of the sunrise. And, visit the Jaguar Rock viewpoint, which is a popular spot for photography.
Take a pit stop for lunch and Depart back to Bangalore by evening and reach the city next morning.
