Day 1
- Pickup: 6:00 AM from Guwahati (arrive a night before; recommend Hotel Ashiyana or any hotel near the airport).
- Start your journey towards Dirang in the West Kameng district.
- Visit Bhalukpong Tipi Orchidarium – home to over 500 species of orchids and exotic plants.
- Stop at Tenga Valley for scenic views and capture beautiful photos.
- Head to Jameri Viewpoint for breathtaking mountain vistas.
- By evening, reach Dirang or the peaceful Sangti Valley.
- Option to stay in a hotel, homestay, or riverside campsite.
Day 2
- Start your day early with a breakfast
- Explore the beauty of Sangti Valley.
- Visit the Sangti Valley Sheep Farm.
- Take a tour of the Dirang Monestary.
- Begin your journey to Tawang.
- Stop at Chug Valley for panoramic views.
- Lunch at Damu's Heritage Dine (pre-order required) – known for authentic Monpa cuisine.
- Visit Sela Pass (13,700 ft) – known for snow-covered landscapes and a sacred lake.
- Pay respects at Jaswant Garh War Memorial (dedicated to the 1962 Indo-China War hero).
- Reach Tawang by evening and check into your hotel.
Day 3
- After breakfast, explore the rich cultural and spiritual heritage of Tawang.
- Visit Tawang Monastery – the largest monastery in India and second-largest in the world.
- Explore the 14th-century Chagjam Suspension Bridge – a marvel of ancient engineering.
- Visit Khinmey Monastery – known for its peaceful ambiance and beautiful murals.
- Pay homage at the Tawang War Memorial (dedicated to 1962 Indo-China War soldiers).
- Visit Urgelling Monastery – birthplace of the 6th Dalai Lama.
- Evening free for exploring the local market – shop for local handicrafts, woolen clothes, and souvenirs.
- Return to your hotel for a restful night.
Day 4
- Early breakfast and start your journey to Bumla Pass (15,200 ft) on the India-China border.
- Pass through rugged terrain and snow-clad mountains.
- Visit the Bumla Border Meeting Point (with permission).
- Stop at Madhuri Lake (Shonga-Tser Lake) – known for its clear waters and scenic backdrop; featured in the movie Koyla.
- Visit PTSO Lake – a glacial lake surrounded by snow-capped peaks and lush forests.
- Return to Tawang by evening.
- Spend time at the local market – try local snacks and shop for Monpa crafts.
Day 5
- After breakfast, start your journey back towards Bomdila (approx. 6–7 hours).
- Stop at Nuranang Falls – a majestic waterfall known for its rainbow effect.
- Pass through the Sela Tunnel – an engineering marvel at high altitude.
- Enjoy scenic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.
- Reach Bomdila by evening.
- Visit Bomdila Viewpoint for panoramic views of the Eastern Himalayas.
- Explore Bomdila Monastery – a peaceful spot for reflection.
- Overnight stay in Dirang, Bomdila, or Shergaon.
Day 6
