Day 1
- Arriving in Mcleodganj marks the beginning of your exciting Himachali backpacking trip.
- Arrive at Mcleodganj and make your way to your accommodation.
- Check-in at your accommodation in tents and freshen up.
- On this first day, you will have the opportunity to settle in and immerse yourself in its surreal ambiance.
- Take ample rest as the next day is for sightseeing in Mcleodganj.
Day 2
- Wake up and get ready to explore the vibrant ambiance of Mcleodganj.
- Pay a visit to the Dalai Lama Temple Complex, also known as Tsuglagkhang Complex, which is an important Buddhist pilgrimage site.
- Visit Bhagsu Waterfall, a picturesque waterfall located about 2 kilometers from McLeod Ganj.
- Make your way to the Gyuto Karmapa Temple, located in Sidhbari.
- Next, head towards Norbulingka Institute, located in Sidhpur.
- Spend your day exploring the Norbulingka Institute, which is a center for preserving Tibetan art, culture, and craftsmanship.
- Take a tour of the institute to learn about traditional Tibetan arts and crafts, such as thangka painting, wood carving, and metalwork.
- Visit the various workshops and witness artisans creating intricate artwork.
- Explore the beautiful gardens surrounding the institute, which are inspired by traditional Tibetan architecture and landscaping.
- Visit the Losel Doll Museum, which showcases a collection of handmade Tibetan dolls.
- Visit Namgyal Monastery, the spiritual center of McLeod Ganj which holds significant importance in Tibetan Buddhism.

Day 3
- Today, you will be heading towards Bir, the paragliding capital of India after breakfast.
- This 72 km drive will take around 3 hours, taking you through eye-catching sceneries.
- Hold your eyes to capture every view outside and get ready to witness the beautiful Hamlet and the thrill it possesses!
- Once reached, check in to Monkey Mud House camps and enjoy the vibes it has.
- Enjoy your lunch and relax knowing that you will soon be free of these calories.
- Prepare yourself for the hike to a picturesque Bari village and sunset point when the perfect moment comes.
- After exploring the nearby eateries, arrive at the campsite later in the evening.
- Travelers have a long history of having unforgettable experiences at Monkey Mudhouse campgrounds.
- Please take advantage of their hospitality.
- Fill up on food and take in the Himachali music and campfire.
- Spend the night in the camp.
DAY 4
- After breakfast, depart from Bir and begin your journey towards Jibhi.
- The drive from Bir to Jibhi takes approximately 5-6 hours, covering a distance of around 145 kilometers.
- Enjoy the picturesque landscapes and mountain views along the way.
- Arrive in Jibhi and check into your accommodation in Himtrek Camps and Stays.
- Take in the beautiful natural vibes in your campsite situated in the lap of nature and get ready to explore Jibhi.
- Take a leisurely walk along the banks of the Tirthan River, enjoying the peaceful surroundings.
- Explore the traditional wooden houses and interact with the friendly locals.
- Visit the Chaini Kothi Waterfall, located in the nearby village of Chaini.
- Enjoy a traditional Himachali lunch at a local restaurant.
- In the evening, you can go for a nature walk or simply relax and enjoy the serene atmosphere.
- Overnight stay in Jibhi.
DAY 5
- Here comes the time to move on to our next chapter, the ecstatic Parvati Valley, after accumulating a pocket full of adventures.
- We shall depart this morning at a very early hour because there is just too much to take in.
- However, you will be taken for rafting along the trip.
- As you kayak through pouring rapids, shout.
- After some time, keep traveling in the direction of Kasol.
- Once there, take it all in because the breathtakingly gorgeous panoramas in front of you will never end.
- Your tents will be assigned to you.
- Then, in no time at all, we will prepare to move towards Chalaal, a place noted for its psychedelic and trance parties.
- This tiny village is tucked away amid a deep coniferous forest.
- With pauses, the walk doesn't last longer than an hour.
- The Parvati River, which flows ferociously, is beautiful, and one may sit at the end of the village and take it all in.
- Afterward, head back towards the campsite.
- We would ask you to give your body the rest it needs because you had a really busy day.
- A fresh day with a new adventure will dawn on us tomorrow.
DAY 6
- We'll leave a little early today so we can greet you at Manali, the cultural center of Himachal Pradesh!
- Settle in your tents comfortably and explore the region that is surrounded by apple trees.
- Clean up and take a short break.
- You'll eventually be taken on an exhilarating hike, for which Manali is renowned.
- The Hadimba Temple is the starting point for the climb to Jogni Waterfall, which continues towards the charming outskirts of Vashisht Village.
- The waterfall is recognized as a sacred site with associated beliefs and the lovely sound of solitude cascading from the falls, and it serves as the boundary of the village.
- After an enjoyable three hours of walking through forests of Oak, Fir, and Deodar, you come out onto a route that climbs steeply uphill.
- All of this brings you to Jogini, where you are greeted by the cascading music of holy waters and a pool formed below where you can swim and experience the bliss of heaven.
- Take a cooling swim while listening to the chirping birds and swinging foliage for stress relief.
- Return to the campsite later in the evening and spend the night in tents.
DAY 7
- This day marks the end of your Ultimate Himachal Backpacking Trip!
- Let's say our final goodbyes to one of the most thrilling road trips we've been on with a heavy heart.
- At a fair hour, we will set off on the journey into the capital.
