Chasing Waterfalls and Cloud Peaks in Meghalaya

Exploring Meghalaya with this group was an absolute dream, from the historic streets of Shillong to the breathtaking canyon walls of Wari Chora. We started as total strangers, but after sharing massive spreads at local Khasi homestays and trying our hand at trekking through dense forests, we became an inseparable crew. Canoeing through Wari Chora with towering limestone walls in the background was a major highlight, made ten times better by everyone hyping each other up for photos. The itinerary balanced mountain adventures with rich cultural history perfectly. I arrived solo and left with memoriesand friendsto last a lifetime.

The Ultimate Abode of Clouds Group Adventure

I was a bit hesitant about joining a group trip to Northeast India, but it turned out to be the best decision of my year. The energy was electric from day one when we all met in Shillong. Exploring the winding alleys, trying fresh local teas, and taking the off-road journey deep into the Garo Hills felt like living in a travel documentary. Our group dynamic was incredibly warm and inclusive, meaning no one ever felt left out during free time. Relaxing near the waterfalls after a long day of walking was pure magic.

Trekking the Living Root Bridges as a Crew

This group trip completely blew my expectations out of the water! The local guides kept everything running smoothly, allowing us to just relax and absorb the culture. Highlights definitely included taking the trail down to the Double Decker Root Bridge, enjoying fresh momos together, and watching the sunset over Laitlum Canyons. The bonds we formed over late-night conversations and laughs were so genuine. If you want to experience Meghalaya without the stress of planning, this is the way to go.
