Reviews
The Chopta Chandrashila trek was an absolute dream, but what truly made it unforgettable was the group I traveled with. We started off as total strangers at the base in Chopta, but by the time we reached Tungnath, we were laughing, sharing meals, and looking out for one another like old friends. Standing on the summit of Chandrashila at sunrise was surrealwatching 360-degree views of Nanda Devi and Trishul light up in golden hues. The steep climb up the paved path was challenging, but the constant encouragement from everyone in the group made it feel achievable. I came on this trip solo, but I left with a heart full of memories and a fantastic group of lifelong friends.
Trekking through the Garhwal Himalayas to reach Tungnath Temple and Chandrashila Peak is something every nature lover should experience at least once. The sheer dramatic panorama from the top is mind-blowing. Doing this as part of a group added a whole new layer of joy. We shared energy bars during tough uphill stretches, sang songs to keep our spirits high, and celebrated together at every rest stop. The sense of shared accomplishment when we reached the summit flag was indescribable. I could not have asked for a better team or a more scenic adventure.
The Chopta Chandrashila trek strikes the perfect balance between high-altitude thrill, spiritual calm, and human connection. Moving as a team through misty meadows and rocky summit ridges created an instant bond among us. The steep climb from Tungnath to the peak was tough, but the collective morale of the group kept everyone moving forward with big smiles. The vista from the top looks like something straight out of a painting. Sitting together in cozy mess tents in the evening, swapping life stories, made this trip feel like a home away from home.
