Day 1

 

• Travel: Drive from Manali to Jobra (2 hours), then trek to Chika (2 hours).
• Distance: 10 km drive, 2 km trek.
• Elevation: 10,100 ft.
• Highlights: Drive through scenic valleys, trek along the Rani Nallah river, camping at Chika.

 

Day 2

 

• Trek: 8 km (5-6 hours).
• Elevation: 11,900 ft.
• Highlights: Trek through rocky banks and meadows, cross the Hampta river, camping at Balu ka Ghera amidst mountains and glaciers.

 

Day 3

 

• Trek: 14 km (8-9 hours).
• Elevation: Hampta Pass at 14,100 ft, Sehagoru at 12,900 ft.
• Highlights: Steep ascent to Hampta Pass, breathtaking views from the pass, descent to Sehagoru through snow and rocky terrain.

 

Day 4

 

• Trek: 8 km (4-5 hours).
• Drive: 70 km round trip (3-4 hours).
• Elevation: 11,000 ft.
• Highlights: Trek through river crossings and glacial paths to Chatru, drive to the mesmerizing Chandratal Lake, return to Chatru for camping.

 

Day 5

 

• Drive: 85 km (5-6 hours).
• Highlights: Scenic drive through Atal tunnel return to Manali, end of trek.
